Knowing that I wasn’t going through this alone...that was my first breakthrough.
— DBSA Chattanooga support group participant

Depression and bipolar disorder can be isolating illnesses. Chattanooga Pendulums support group can help you connect with others who have been there as well. Meetings are always free. We meet weekly on Thursday nights at 6:30PM. Visit us and get the support that is essential to recovery. You will be glad you did!

No one with depression or bipolar disorder needs to feel alone or ashamed. There is a grassroots network of DBSA chapters and support groups, including a support group in the Chattanooga area.  The group has a professional advisor and appointed facilitators.  Members include people and loved ones of people living with depression or bipolar disorder.  As a complement to formal therapy, DBSA support groups:

  • Can help increase treatment compliance and may help patients avoid hospitalization.
  • Provide a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding, and self-discovery.
  • Help people understand that mood disorders do not define who they are.
  • Give people the opportunity to benefit from the experiences of those who have “been there.”

Take the next step to wellness for you or someone you love!

DBSA Chattanooga is affiliated with DBSA National.  Visit DBSA National for bipolar and depression wellness treatment, tools, and research.

Why Donate to DBSA of Chattanooga?

Every year, DBSA assists millions through nearly 300 chapters and more than 700 support groups around the country, through our online educational materials and wellness tools, and through the many other ways that we support our peers living with mood disorders. The only way that we can do this is with support from members of the DBSA community.

Each dollar we receive increases our ability to help another person. How many people will you help today?
